All tour guides will wear masks. Guests are encouraged, but not required, to wear masks. All vehicles and tables at the water mill will be sanitized in between tours. Tour guides will have hand sanitizer available for guest use.

The cost for a semi-private tour is €120 per person. A €20 deposit is due at the time of booking. The remaining €100 per person is due at the beginning of the tour.

Unfortunately, no. The walking tour of both the 1,700-year-old Diocletian’s Palace and the 2,000-year-old Klis Fortress involve stairs, especially the latter. Considering their age and construction, they have not been made handicap accessible as of yet.
Our tour includes a traditional barbecue meal at the water mill filming location. As such, all bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance. For last minute bookings, please contact us directly.
Upon booking, you will immediately receive a booking confirmation with a QR code for each ticket you purchase. If you purchase 3 tickets, you’ll receive 3 automated booking confirmations. This booking confirmation will include your selected tour date, selected tour time, contact number, meeting point location and diet restrictions (if provided). It will also include our direct contact information and cancellation/no-show policy.

For cancellations received at least 72 hours prior to the tour, we will provide a 100% refund of the deposit. Within 72 hours of the tour, the deposit is non-refundable. Regardless of time frame, we request that you let us know by email, contact form or by phone at +385 (0)92 374 1545 if you do not plan to attend so that we may cancel your meal preparation.
For guests that do not show up for the tour without notice or that cancel less than 24 hours before the tour, we will charge the billing credit card a 40EUR no show fee per person.
Yes, there will be a medium amount of walking during the visits to Diocletian’s Palace and Klis Fortress.
It is best to bring sunscreen, comfortable walking shoes and a hat.
The meal includes either traditional Croatian veal peka barbecue with vegetables, or grilled trout served with polenta. If we are given at least 24 hours notice, it is possible to accommodate most dietary restrictions. Please provide any dietary instructions during booking or by email.
Upon booking, you’ll receive an automated email confirmation that includes directions to the meeting point. The meeting point is located just outside Diocletian’s Palace in the city center.

During the tour, you’ll visit Diocletian’s Palace, Klis Fortress and the historic 600-year-old Žrnovnica water mill outside Split.
If there is heavy rain, we’ll reschedule your tour to the next possible time slot. If the weather is still too heavy, we’ll refund your deposit.
Unfortunately, no. HBO is very strict about keeping a closed set to prevent details about each new season from becoming public. During filming, some of the filming locations will be closed, in which case we’ll provide a modified version of the tour at a discounted rate.
All of our tours are semi-private, with 2-6 people maximum per time slot.
However, we can arrange group tours for parties of more than 7. Group discounts start with parties of 15 or more. Please contact us to arrange a group tour.
The tour lasts about 5 hours. At the end of the tour, you will return to Split by car, which takes about 20 minutes.
No. Your tour cost includes all admission fees.
Only children above the age of 12 can attend the semi-private tour. If you have a child 11 or younger and wish to take the tour, a private tour is required. Private tours cost a flat fee of 50euros per party.
For those with young children, please note that there are moderate amounts of walking, multiple sets of stairs and one significant hill included in the tour.
Absolutely. Once you arrive at the water mill filming location, you’ll enjoy a traditional Croatian peka barbecue lunch including homemade bread and local wine. Peka contains slow-cooked veal and vegetables. You may request fish instead during the booking process.

Yes, of course. Considering the 300+ steps, we recommend that you do not bring a child that requires a stroller.

Unfortunately, no. There are more then 300 stairs to climb and total walking distance of of 1,5-3 km (depending on a tour), making the tour not wheelchair accessible. The tour guide will be holding a Lannister banner. Tour begins promptly at 9:30am. Printed tour voucher and/or an electronic version (PDF) on your smartphone must be presented at time of tour.
Yes. There are over 300 stairs we’ll climb and the walking distance ranges from 1,5km to 3,0km. Definitely bring comfortable walking shoes.
